Once a hidden gem known only to locals and small numbers of travellers, Maya Bay is now world-famous as the breathtaking setting in Hollywood blockbuster, “The Beach.”
After a three-year closure from June 2018 to January 2022 to restore the coral and other marine life, Maya Bay is open once again. Daily visitors are limited, there’s a specific area designated for swimming.
We’re delighted to offer breathtaking tours to this bucket-list destination (except in September and October when the Bay closes for annual rejuvenation). There are also endless other stunning sites around the island where you can soak up the unique nature and aquatic wonders of Phi Phi. Explore Bamboo Island, snorkel or dive around crystal reefs and encounter the cheeky inhabitants of Monkey Bay.
