Miss Olive Oyl

Miss Olive grows up wandering aimlessly through the vineyards and fields full of wild flowers on a tiny Mediterranean island. In the mornings she relishes making flower bouquets and eating simple picnics in the gorgeous fields. In the late afternoons, she often reads poetry and watches the fishermen bring the daily catch. She stares out to sea and daydreams of being somewhere else. She worries that life is passing her by and she will eventually have to follow in her forefathers’ footsteps and join the family business.
